DINGLI Successfully Delivered GIS System to Arctic Circumstances project with -55℃ Extreme Cold Temperature

2026-06-19

DINGLI successfully delivered 24 sets of 110kV GIS units for a mega petrochemical project located within the Arctic Circle. The project not only faces the extreme low temperature of -55℃, but also required more than a hundred rounds of technical communication throughout the eight-month performance cycle to meet the client’s extremely stringent and meticulous specifications. This marks the first large-scale application of China’s GIS equipment and technologies under such harsh natural conditions and rigorous project requirements, representing a groundbreaking advancement for DINGLI in this industry segment in terms of both supplied products and supporting services.

The Arctic, a vast ice-covered landmass and one of Earth’s most enigmatic regions, stands as a focal point of global energy strategy thanks to its abundant natural resources. Nevertheless, its notoriously harsh natural conditions — subzero extreme cold, severe storms, permafrost, and months-long polar nights — impose unimaginable obstacles to the execution of any engineering project. Upholding steadfast dedication and a pragmatic work ethic, the DINGLI team fulfilled all delivery tasks fully and on schedule within the agreed performance timeline.
